Sankhyayog ......from ...Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta....

Sankhyayog ......from ...Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta....

What is Sankhyayoga ? Sankhyayoga can be easily understood by spiritual knowledge said as  ‘gyan’. A Shankhyayogi is actually a gyani who know everything; he knows about karamyoga he knows dhyan yoga he knows mechanism of mind he knows how desired formed. He also knows about three properties of nature; prakriti ke teen gunaas and their workings.
There are two methods adopted in karam yoga. One does karma without desires and other is do all karma for GOD or for his nature. In karma yoga one keeps his attentions on mind as mind has great power to create desires. So he try to keep his mind apart from senses as he knows that it is the mind which with the help of senses indulge in material attractions and create desires. This can be easily understood by a fig below:-

Material Attractions <---Desires-<---Senses <--- Mind <----Intelligence<---SOUL

In this way a karam yogi always try to avoid the interaction of mind with senses so that no materialistic attractions is formed and no signal of this attraction is transmitted to the Soul. Mean karam yogi mainly works on mind.
Now in sankhya yoga, as I said above a sankhya yogi is a highly intelligent yogi he has high spirit of yoga. He understands the all process well. But he also knows that no one can lives on this planet without karama as stated in Chapter 3 Stanza 5 of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta and besides it he also understand the power of nature; power of three gunnas (properties) of nature.
After understanding all these concepts he developed a different type of thought. He never tries to interfere with mind and nature. He says let mind and nature do their works. He works on concept of witness. He becomes witness of all this process. He becomes witness of how a desire comes out. He only sees the desires not be with the desires. He becomes witness of how nature with power of its three gunnas gives different types of attractive offers to the sense and how mind is with the senses and how they manipulate the intelligence. He sees all this but never try to be with all this. He only has to witness. No interference......
Only witness..... No interference.......   This is SANKHYA YOGA......
